Who we are. What we do.
Saccarappa Obedience Club was formed in 1966 by a group of dedicated dog owners. Since that time, SOC has provided the community with family dog and competitive obedience training. Over the past 40 years, SOC has seen many training methods come and go and now focuses on a reward based training program with great results.
SOC holds a variety of events each year including seminars, matches, demonstrations and AKC trials and was the first obedience club in Maine eligible to hold licensed obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club. SOC is dedicated to protecting and advancing the best interests of all dogs and to encourage good sportsmanship at all times.
